Frame / 001Colormaster Norge works across digital print, large-format production, signage, finishing and specialist applications. The company needed a clearer visual identity and a website that could explain a broad and technically complex offering without feeling overloaded. I developed a new logo and visual direction, reorganised the website structure and created the new site from content and navigation through to design and launch. The work combined brand identity, UX, copywriting, photography, SEO and practical knowledge of the company’s production methods. Because I also work directly with customers, files and production, I could design the site around the questions people actually ask: what can be produced, which material is suitable, how files should be prepared and how to request a quote.
A clearer identity for a complex production company
Colormaster Norge works across digital print, large-format production, signage, finishing and specialist applications. The challenge was to create an identity and website that could make this broad and technical offering easier to understand.
The challenge
The previous website had grown over time and no longer reflected the full range of services, production methods or technical expertise within the company. Important information was difficult to find, and the visual identity lacked a clear and consistent system.

The existing identity and website communicated individual services, but not the company as a coherent production partner. The structure needed to be simplified without removing the technical detail customers depend on.
A new visual identity

Structure before styling
The website was reorganised around how customers actually search for production services. Instead of presenting the company through internal terminology, the navigation and content were structured around products, materials, applications and practical customer questions.

Designing the website

The visual design was kept restrained so that production examples, materials and technical information could remain the focus. The new blue identity creates recognition across the site, while typography, spacing and repeated page structures give the content a more consistent rhythm.
Built from production knowledge
Because I work directly with customer files, materials, machines and production planning, I could design the website around real workflows rather than assumptions. This influenced how services are described, which questions are answered and how customers are guided towards the right production method.
Content and search visibility
I also developed the content structure, service descriptions, page hierarchy and SEO foundations. Each service page was designed to answer practical questions about price, delivery, materials and file preparation while remaining useful for both customers and search engines.
The goal was not simply to make Colormaster look more modern, but to make the company easier to understand.
Outcome
The result is a more coherent visual identity and a website that better represents Colormaster as a complete production partner. The project brought together branding, UX, content, photography, SEO and implementation in one system that can continue to grow with the company.
